Who Are We
Established on 17 November 1977, the Brunei Darussalam Road Safety Council was founded to maintain the highest standards of road safety in the country.
Rooted in the belief that education is key, the Council continues to work across agencies to reduce deaths and serious injuries on our roads.

Achieve a 50% reduction in road traffic accident frequency by the year 2030.

Reduce Road Accident Fatalities
Achieve a 50% reduction in road traffic fatalities by the year 2030.

Achieve 3-Star Minimum Safety Rating for Major Roads
Making 80% of major roads safer with a 3-star minimum safety rating by the year 2030.

Improve Safe Speed Compliance
Reduction in road traffic fatalities and serious injuries, achieved through better adherence to posted safe speeds.

Zero Major Road Accidents (Multiple Fatalities)
Prevent the occurrence of road traffic accidents that involve multiple fatalities (3 or more deaths), especially involving public transport vehicles (buses, coaches) or dangerous goods.
